Luxembourg, often called Lux for short, might be small, but it has plenty to offer! In the north, you’ll find dark forests clinging to the rocky cliffs by the Our river, perfect for wild river rafting and exploring old fortresses like Vianden. Head south or east, and you’ll encounter the peaceful Moselle river, which flows along vineyards, particularly around Echternach.
Just like the German region around Moselle, Luxembourg is great for long bike trips, mountain biking, and hiking. Luxembourg City itself is a small yet grand capital, combining the charm of a cozy town with international flair.
With everything so close by, Luxembourg is ideal for exploring by bike or on foot. Next time we visit, we’re definitely bringing our mountain bikes to explore the hillsides even better!
