Our Affection for Garda in Spring and Fall

Our Affection for Garda in Spring and Fall

We’ve just come back from some amazing September days in Northern Italy at Lake Garda. The weather is generally pleasant most of the year. While it does get hot in July and August, it’s not as intense as in Tuscany. On the flip side, spring and autumn are warmer, with temperatures above 20°C as early as April. The lake is nestled between the southern Dolomite Mountains and opens up to the Po plain in the south, which contributes to its nice climate.

As outdoor enthusiasts and mountain biking fans, we’re definitely planning another trip in the spring. We’re hoping it won’t be as crowded as it inevitably is during the peak summer months.
